Something about me.

Since the journal belongs to me :p I think i can take up the area to write a few things about myself.

My name is Abhishek Sharma, nationality is Indian and age is 21. As of now I am pursuing my B-Tech in IIIT Allahabad and wish to undergo MS from a good foreign institute and if possible PHD too. I wish to contribute everything to the knowledge of this world. I am kind of passionate for this. One may call it my dream. I just wish that one day knowledge is the only thing which is respected by all and paves the way for our lives. This was a bit personal so don't get mad at me :)

Don't worry about posting personal stuff. Most of us do. Dreamwidth is a community of people talking about their lives, not just a tech community.

I just wandered over from a post talking about GSOC and... yeah. I don't use my Dreamwidth to do anything but talk about my life and my creative pursuits. Heck, it's because of Dreamwidth that I'm taking an introductory computer science course next year (Introductory Perl, baby! Because I have tried, but I just cannot teach myself how). I was just using the site, and then saw everybody else doing tech stuff and went, "that looks neat!" My main tech-y concern over the past several years has been building and maintaining communities on social networking sites.

And that is the reason why i am liking this community a lot and wish to develop for it. Even for my GSOC idea I have thought of a GUI which dreamwidth can shape according to their needs and likes. But I ain't telling the details right now, do not wish to spoil the surprise.
